Erma J Crowder, affectionately known as "Maw Maw" was born to Axim and Elza Ruth Denton on May 25, 1937 and just celebrated her 87th birthday.
Maw Maw was loved by many and will truly be missed especially those who had the opportunity to taste her delicious pound cake.
Maw Maw was employed with The Ohio State University until she retired after 36 yrs. She was married to her loving husband Charles Earl Crowder until his death in 1983.
The two of them were the proud parents to Anthony and Sabrena.
Erma is preceded in death by both parents (Axim and Elza) 5 brothers A.D. "Uncle Jack" Denton (Sarah), Lawrence Denton, Haymond "Uncle Tex" Denton (Juanita-d), TB Denton (Katie-d,), James Denton and 4 sisters: Marie "Aunt Mickey" (Herman-d.) Zimmerman, Jewel Jones "Aunt Red", Doris "Aunt Sis" Denton (Perry-d)Taylor, Geraldine Denton.
She leaves to cherish her memories sister- Elizabeth "Aunt Ann" (Smitty-d.) Smith (Houston Texas), devoted daughter Sabrena, son Anthony (Nikki), Step-sons Charles and Gary Williams, step- daughter Rogena Hartgrove, granddaughters Tatiana and Sianna Crowder, grandson Tristan(Shai'Ane) Fadis, bonus granddaughters Markayla and Markita Prince, Betty Riggins, great grands Amariyah and Mateo Fadis, special friends/neighbors on her street: Ms. Lynn, Terry Thomas, Keith and Yvette Kellam, and all of Sabrena's friends.
Maw Maw had a host of friends, nieces, nephews and cousins, but there are 3 nieces that checked up on her daily and weekly: Merlene Denton, Cherisse Denton and Zyneene Williams.
Maw Maw will forever hold a place in each of our hearts and will never be forgotten.
