Erma Jeanette Fleming, 93, of Bushkill Twp., formerly of Milford, NJ, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Hecktown Oaks. She was the beloved wife of the late William Fleming to whom she was married to for 64 years before his passing in 2014. Born in Everittstown, NJ. Erma was a daughter of the late Harrison and Myrtle Curtis (Kinney).
Throughout her career, Erma was known for her role alongside her late husband, William, as owner and operator of B&J Tire Service in Milford, NJ, where together they provided exceptional service and support to their customers. Her entrepreneurial spirit was shared fully with William, and she was a vital partner in his ventures, including Del Val Trailer Sales - Milford and Del Val Propane - Wind Gap. Together, they built a lasting legacy rooted in hard work, integrity, and commitment to their community.
Erma's zest for life was evident in her passion for travel. She cherished her time as a snowbird in Punta Gorda, Florida, where she enjoyed the sunshine and the company of friends and family. Her warmth and kindness extended to all who knew her, and her involvement in the Order of the Eastern Star as a Past Matron further reflected her lifelong dedication to service.
She will be dearly missed by her children: Daryn Fleming (Debra) of Bushkill Twp., Dolores Fleming of Bushkill Twp., Darlene Fleming of Harrisburg, Fred Schubert (Linda) of Bushkill Twp. ; grandchildren, Daryn Jr., Sarah, Justine, Amber, Leah, Jason, Jessica; great-grandchildren: Daryn, III, Molly, Carson, Makayla, Alex, Ethan and Axle; nephews: Phillip and Dwayne. She was predeceased by a sister: Dolores Myers
