ERNEST “BUD” ARTHUR HALL, 78, entered eternity, Saturday, September7, 2024 and is now pain free.
Born in Dillon, SC, Bud was a son of the late Eulie Hall and Dora Buff Butler. He lived most of his life in Aiken and attended the South Carolina School for the Deaf in Spartanburg, SC. He was the owner of Hall’s Small Engine Repair.
Survivors include his longtime girlfriend Jennifer Powell, Johnsonville, SC; children, Mark Arthur Hall, Columbus, OH, Sherry Ann Watts (Robert), Harlem, GA, Lawrence Paul Hall (Kim), Augusta, GA, Matthew Ernest Hall, West Palm Beach, FL; four siblings, Jelina Tindall, Aiken, Debbie Burt, Beech Island, Jerry Hall, Aiken, Gail Hall, Beech Island; grandchildren, Joanna Marie Hall-Spicer (David), Jordane Storm, Molly Jane Hall, Griffin Arthur Hall, Lawrence Samuel Hall, Sarah Katherine Hall, Madison Elizabeth Hall, Carly Elizabeth Hall; great-grandchildren, Hayden Chase Spicer (Alexandra), Dana Michelle Spicer (Dylan), Gavin Sean Ouzts (Brandy), Laura Lynn Spicer, Chloe Anne Crowe, Isabella Grace Crowe, Noah James Arthur Spicer, Emma Jean Faith Spicer, Aubrii Leigh Storm, Sereniti Rose Storm, Oliver Jaxyn Storm, Preston Lee Hall, Aubrey Jane Lee Turner, Alenah Rose Hall, Liam Arthur Hall, Lillyann Hall, Rose Adalyn Stearman, Dahlia Louise Jones; great-great grandkids, Madison Kate Dickey, Paisley Michelle Spicer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Patsy Steel and Mary Lephart.
The family will receive friends Friday afternoon, September 20th beginning at 1 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow at 2 o'clock in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Aiken Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be directed to the Friends of the Animal Shelter (fotasaiken.org).
