Funeral Service for Ernest Joseph “Tubby” “Eno” Daigrepont of Bordelonville, will take place at the Bayou des Glaises Baptist Church in Moreauville, on Friday, October 10, 2025, beginning at 2:00pm with Rev. Eugene Gaspard officiating. Burial will take place at the Bayou des Glaises Baptist Cemetery in Moreauville, LA.

Ernest Joseph Daigrepont, 88, passed away at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte, LA. on Sunday, October 5, 2025. Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Angela Gabor and Bridget Manshack; his son, Michael Daigrepont; step-children, Charlotte Craig, Hilda Cholritte, and Scotty Larue; sister, Louise Armand, brothers, Edsel Daigrepont, James Daigrepont, and Clifton Daigrepont; he also leaves behind a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Daigrepont; parents, David Daigrepont and Agnes Current Daigrepont; his siblings, Eura Armand, Allen Daigrepont, Everdean Lemoine, Betty Baudoin, Rena Morris, Sybil Percle, and Ruby Gaspard.

Visitation will begin at 9:00AM until time of service on Friday, October 10, 2025, at the Bayou des Glaises Baptist Church in Moreauville, LA.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be, Andrew Manshack, Jason Manshack, Mike Daigrepont, Daniel Gabor, Curtis Lejeune, and Dustin Craig.
