A Memorial Service will be held at a later date for Susan Ann Daigrepont, 64, who passed away on June 8, 2025 at her residence.
Susan Ann Daigrepont, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother, passed away on June 8, 2025, in her home in Carencro, Louisiana. Born on April 29, 1961, in Lafayette, Louisiana, Susan brought joy and music into the lives of those around her. A graduate of Breaux Bridge Sr. High School, she shone as a lead soprano in the high school choir, captivating audiences with her beautiful voice at numerous competitions.
After high school, Susan pursued her education at the University of Southwestern Louisiana, where she earned a degree in accounting. Though she had a successful academic journey, her true calling was as a dedicated homemaker, creating a warm and nurturing environment for her family.
A woman of many talents, Susan delighted in cooking, crocheting, and immersing herself in the pages of a good book. However, her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She cherished every moment with them, creating precious memories and offering unconditional love.
Susan's spirit will continue to inspire those she loved, as she leaves behind a legacy of kindness, love, and creativity. She will forever hold a special place in the hearts of her family and friends.
She is survived by her sons, Scott (Jewlie) Hollenbeck, Ross Hollenbeck, and Thomas (Hailey) Daigrepont; and one daughter; brothers, Alan (Kathy) Pourciaux, Ray Pourciaux, Joseph (Carrol) Pourciaux, Gary (Wendy) Pourciaux; sisters, Vicki Pourciaux, Mitzi (Coby) LeBlanc, Katie (Robert) Barras, and Julie (Robert) Morris; aunt, Joyce (Dennis) Kern; 3 granddaughter and her grandsons, Jonathan, Nicholas, Kyson and Ledger, a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Betty Pourciaux; maternal grandparents, Ovide and Euphemie Mire; paternal grandparents, Eugene and Edolie Degeyter Pourciaux and her aunts, Norma Kibodeauxand Joyce Landry.
