Mr. Ernest L. Hanley Jr.

Mr. Ernest L. Hanley, Jr., age 85, of Hull, GA passed Wednesday, February 25, 2026 after an extended illness. Mr. Hanley was born in the Hudson River Community to the late Ernest Lee and Flossie Edwards Hanley. He was non-denominational in his faith and followed the teachings of William Marion Branham. Mr. Hanley was a master plumber and farmer.

Mr. Hanley is survived by his wife, Betty Frances Hanley of Hull; children, Sharon Rose Eades of Watkinsville, David Randall Hanley of Hull, Jeffrey Scott Hanley of Hull, Benjamin Franklin Hanley of Hull and Amanda Joy Hanley of Nicholson; sisters, Eleanor Appling and Pearlie McGee both of Danielsville; brother, Mack Hanley of Commerce; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, March 1 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Mr. Sean Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in the Hanley Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 12 until 2 PM.
