Ernest Pasquino Obituary
Married to his beloved wife Mary of 65 years who recently passed away 62 days ago, they were the perfect "love story of true love and commitment" A celebration of their reunion together again.
A longtime resident of Bedford, Ernie recently moved to Bedford Hills Skilled Nursing Facility which became a second family to him.
In his earlier years, Ernie worked at Home Insurance Company as an accountant and helped out at the polls with the town voting, volunteered in his community at local food pantries.
Those that knew Ernie will remember his "light up the room" smile and amazing personality with his proud Italian demeanor. He was an avid bowler, loved crossword puzzles and enjoyed projects around the house. There are many cherished memories with friends and family.
Besides his parents, Ernie was predeceased by his wife Mary, his two brothers, Thomas and Joseph.
He is survived by his daughter and son in law, Helen and Kevin Emond of Barnstead NH and brother, John from Queens, NY.
Helen would like to thank the staff at Bedford Hills Nursing Home for the amazing care that Ernie was given. Their kindness and love is greatly appreciated. Extended thanks and gratitude to everyone that visited him through his stay there.
In accordance with his wishes there will be no calling hours. A private family burial will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Ernie's memory to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital https://www.stjude.org The Roan Family Funeral Home in Pembroke is assisting the family with arrangements. Worked with Ernie who was one of my bosses at Home Insurance. Then later on in life he was a customer at a store I worked at. Definitely had some fun times with him and could definitely tell he as Italian. My prayers and thoughts are with you
