Anson,
On April 11th our father Ernest E. St. Peter gained his angel wings peacefully at the age of 87. He graduated from Anson Academy in 1956. He was a Veteran and served in the Army and had an honorable discharge on November 14th, 1962. He also was in the National Guard a retired police officer for the town of Madison and 44 years at Madison Paper Industries before retiring at the age of 76 he loved working the night shift at the lower mill where he fed wood to the mill and worked in the wood yard outside no matter the weather he enjoyed driving the bucket loader. He was a father of 4 children and has great grandchildren and if you knew our father you know how funny he was and how much he loved making other people laugh and he had a big heart even though he had a stubborn side to him also. He liked driving around on his days off driving on back roads listening to his CD's and smoking cigars and visiting people he knew. He is proceeded by his parents Eugene and Eva St. Peter (Price) and his sister Rita St. Peter. He is survived by his sisters Christine, Arlene, and Norma. There will be a graveside service at St. Sebastion Cemetery in Madison on May 12th with a Veteran service to honor our father time to be announced.
