Ernest H. Schaedlich Jr.

Ernest H. Schaedlich, Jr., 76, passed away on March 21, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Springfield, MA on January 19, 1949, he was the son of the late Ernest H. Schaedlich, Sr. and Janet M. (Martel) Schaedlich.
In his youth, Ernie was a professional motorcycle racer. He also had worked for 33 years as a custodian for the Windsor, CT board of education. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on classic cars, loved nature, fitness and feeding animals.
His family will fondly remember him for his stubbornness, his hard work, his loyalty and for his old-fashioned values.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Marion (Sullivan) Schaedlich; his brothers David and Eric "Ricky" Schaedlich and his sister Lory Bousquet. To cherish his memory, Ernie leaves his daughter Lynn Farrell and her husband Joseph of Agawam, MA; his grandson Derek Wheeler and his wife Marie Gonzalez of Southwick, MA; the second love of his life, Linda Floroski of Hartland, CT as well as many extended family members and friends.
