ERNEST SEYFERT 12/16/1951 - 05/18/2025 Cullison - Ernest Lynn "Ernie" Seyfert, 73, passed away on May 18, 2025 at his home. He was born on December 16, 1951 in Pratt to Lester B. and Mildred Dorothea (Hillman) Seyfert. Ernest married Pamela Kay (Hammonds) Seyfert on March 18, 1989 in Pratt. They were married for 36 years. Ernie graduated from Skyline High School in 1971. He was a farmer and owned Seyfert Farms. He was a member of the Soil Conservation District from 1998-2010. He enjoyed reading, going on drives, watching football and basketball, and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Pam; daughter, Kelli Seyfert of Cullison; stepchildren, Misty Mew of Lake Village, Arkansas, J. Shane Hall of Odessa, Texas and Christie (Chad) Culp of Hamburg, Arkansas; siblings, Marcia (Rick) Stahl of Cullison, Sue (Dale) Miller of Lawrence, Edward Seyfert of Leawood, Rosemary (Kevin) Harris of Abilene and Mike Seyfert of Overland Park; granddaughters, Afton Newman and Naomi Seyfert; step-grandchildren, Jessica Tumey, Luke Adams, C.W. Watson and Cody Adams; and special son, Travis Conner of Pratt. Ernie is preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. with family receiving friends from 5-7 at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 23, 2025 at Larrison Mortuary, Pratt with John Hamm presiding. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt.
