In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Smith.
Survivors include his loving wife of almost 50 years, Sheila Yoakley; daughters, Crystal Hasting and husband James and Jessica Eddins and husband Wesley; son, Adam Yoakley; 14 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; along with a host of extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5pm to 7pm on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Scott County Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow with Bro. Tony Hobbs and Bro. Billy Hensley officiating. Music will be provided by Angel Hensley and Tony Hobbs.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11am on Friday, May 3, 2024 at Holston View Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:50am.
