Ernest Yourgulez III

Ernest "Ernie Elder" Yourgulez III died unexpectedly on October 18th. He was born in Mountain View, California, on August 19, 1979. Ernie moved to Boring at age 2 and attended Kelso elementary, Cedar Ridge middle school, and Sandy High where he enjoyed playing soccer and baseball. He fell in love with skateboarding at six and graduated to snowboarding on Mt. Hood at 13.
Ernie worked at DJing in Portland in his 20s. He was a talented glassblower and collaborated with many artists in the area. A talented welder, he loved working at Vigor Marine Group.
Ernie is survived by his two daughters, Lily and Iris, his mother Dinese Elder, father Ernest Yourgulez Junior, grandparents Joanne Okeson and Jack Elder, sisters Frankie and Celia, and brother, George.
A celebration of life will be held November 23rd from 2:00 to 4:00 at Three Rivers VFW post in Oregon City.
