Ernestina Garcia, age 81 of Albuquerque, Mexico was born on March 14, 1942 in Bibo, New Mexico.
She peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family on January 25, 2024. Ernestina is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years, Dori Garcia. Together, they shared a lifetime of memories and cherished moments.
Ernestina leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion. She was a dedicated mother to her daughter Doris Turcotte (Jeff) and son Jamie Garcia (Robbie). Her children were a source of joy and pride in her life.
Ernestina was blessed with three beautiful granddaughters: Ashley Turcotte, Tessa Houser (Alec), and Martina Garcia. She adored them and cherished the time spent together creating lasting memories.
Her three great-grandchildren, Paisley Turcotte, Steele Houser, and Rhett Houser brought immense happiness into her life. Ernestina delighted in their laughter and innocence.
A Mass will be held to honor Ernestina's life at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church located at 5415 Fortuna Rd NW, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87105 on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 11:00 AM. The interment will be held privately at a later date as per the family's request.
In accordance with Tina's wishes, there will be no reception following the Mass. Her family kindly requests your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Ernestina Garcia was a woman of faith who lived her life with kindness and grace. She will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family and the joy she brought to their lives. May she rest in eternal peace.
