Ernestine Moorman Lynem, 91, widow of Edwin H. Lynem died unexpectedly Saturday, March 29th. She was a native of Lexington and the daughter of the late Ernest Moorman and Gracie Moredock Moorman. She was a proud and able homemaker and bookkeeper. Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Wife and Friend. She was quite the little powerhouse full of humor, wit, charm and elegance. She is survived by two daughters, Ubar D. Lynem, Lexington and Cadara Edwinese (Brenson) Parks, Madison, AL; stepdaughter Vanessa Ann Lynem, Roswell, GA; her brother-in-law, Sherman Lee (Juanita) Lynem, Cincinnati, OH; and her grandchildren, Kuani Tillman, Leon Tillman, Tiana Lynem, Emmanuel, Imani and Aaliyah Bryant. She is also survived by a host of other loving relatives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Je'Rhonda Lynem. Graveside service for Mrs. Lynem will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Attendees may arrive at the cemetery as early as 10:45 am. Pastor Jerald Alford of First Baptist Church, Ripley, Ohio will preside.

Auntie, our loss of you ends a very dear generation of which you were the baby. I know Mama & Aunt Grace will be glad for the reunion & I know when they left you missed them so!
