WEST COLUMBIA%%Services for Ervin F. Harrison, Sr., 72, of West Columbia, SC, will be held at 11am Friday, May 5, 2006, in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, officiated by Rev. John O’Cain. Burial will follow at Poole’s Family Cemetery in Salley, SC. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Lexington Medical Center.

Mr. Harrison died Wednesday, May 3, 2006. Born in North, SC, he was a son of the late Joe Harrison and Aileen Carr Harrison. He was retired as owner/operator of Harrison’s Garage.

Surviving are his wife, Iva Dean Harrison of West Columbia; daughters and sons-in-law, Joy H. and Ronnie Wingard of Lexington, Susan H. and Chris Roof of West Columbia; son, Ervin F. Harrison, Jr. of West Columbia; sisters, Velma H. Green of Hopkinsville, KY, Allie H. Jumper of Greenville; brother, John D. Harrison of Pelion; grandchildren, Kristin Moyer, Joy Moyer, Trent Harrison, and Tyler Harrison. Mr. Harrison was preceded in death by brothers, James Harrison and J.W. Harrison; and sisters, Ethel H. Edmonds, Gladys H. Hallman, and Thelma H. Ballenger.

dear iva dean and family so sorry for our loss will miss uncle ervin very much as i know you all will too want see you tonight have to work so i can have tomorrow off see you then love marion
