Erwin E. Tullar

RUSHFORD - Erwin E. Tullar, of 9647 Brookside Road, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday (April 17, 2021) in Cuba Memorial Hospital.

He was born on Feb. 2, 1935, in Yorkshire, a son of the late Edwin and Pauline Butler Tullar. On Aug. 17, 1957, in the Yorkshire Methodist Church he married Dorothy Ames who survives.

Erwin was a member, and served as a deacon for many years, at the Rushford Baptist Church. He served on the board of directors for Conesus Milk Producers, was a milk tester for Dairy One and owned and operated his own dairy farm.

He enjoyed gardening, and watching hockey and baseball, but most of all he devoted his life to God and his family.

Surviving in addition to his wife, are their children, Cheryl (Robert) Garrish of Aldan, Pa., Dan (Lorie) Tullar and Steve (Linda) Tullar, both of Rushford and Janis (Gus) Haydt of Honeybrook, Pa.; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Duane Tullar, Eleanor Tullar and Myrna (Tom) Strassheim; several nieces; and a nephew.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Arlene Wells; a brother in law, William Wells; and a sister-in-law, Anabelle Tullar.

Family and friends may gather from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday (April 24, 2021) at the Rushford Baptist Church, where a funeral service will follow at noon. Michael Stephenson and Michael Welch will co-officiate. Burial will be in Bellville Cemetery, town of New Hudson.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N. Genesee St., Fillmore.
