Los Fresnos, Texas - Esperanza Lopez, 78, passed away to be with the Lord on April 18, 2025 at her residence.
Mrs. Lopez was born on April 23, 1945 in Valle Hermoso Tamaulipas Mexico to Jacinto & Guadalupe Lopez.
She is preceded in death by her parents & her husband, Roberto Oviedo.
Esperanza Lopez is survived by four sons, Julio Oviedo, Roberto Oviedo, Joel Oviedo, Marco A. Oviedo; five daughters, Juana Oviedo, Norma Oviedo, Lourdes Oviedo, Claudia Oviedo & Erika Oviedo. Also surviving are 25 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren & great-great grandchildren.
Visitation for Esperanza Lopez is scheduled for Monday, April 21, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of the Heavens. A 1:00 PM Funeral Service is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of The Heavens. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Donna, TX.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
Los Fresnos, Texas - Esperanza López, de 78 años, falleció el 18 de abril 2025 en su residencia.
La Sra. López nació el 23 de abril 1946 en Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas, México, hija de Jacinto y Guadalupe López.
Le preceden en la muerte sus padres y su esposo, Roberto Oviedo.
A Esperanza López le sobreviven cuatro hijos, Julio Oviedo, Roberto Oviedo, Joel Oviedo, Marco A. Oviedo; cinco hijas, Juana Oviedo, Norma Oviedo, Lourdes Oviedo, Claudia Oviedo y Erika Oviedo. También sobreviven 25 nietos; numerosos bisnietos y tataranietos.
El velorio de Esperanza López está programado para el lunes 21 de abril 2025 de 2:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m. en la Funeraria Salinas de Weslaco - Capilla de los Cielos. Un servicio funerario a la 1:00 p.m. está programado para el martes 22 de abril 2025 en la Funeraria Salinas - Capilla de los Cielos. El sepelio se llevará a cabo en el cementerio Val Verde Memorial Gardens en Donna, TX.
Los arreglos funerarios han sido confiados a la Funeraria Salinas de Weslaco.
