Estela Martinez Jimenez, age 50, passed away on September 24, 2025. She was born on June 28, 1975, in Baja, Mexico, to the union of Antonio Martinez and Carmen Jimenez.

In 2000, Estela immigrated to Chicago, Illinois, seeking a better life for her family. A devoted single mother of three, she was known for her tireless work ethic, often holding two or three jobs at a time to provide for her children. Her love and determination extended beyond her own household-she even made it possible for her beloved mother to join her in the United States.

Estela's life was a shining example of faith and devotion. Completely dedicated to God, she lived each day grounded in prayer and full of unwavering belief. Her strength, generosity, and spirit touched everyone blessed to know her.

She was the beloved mother of Emanuel Vazquez, Oscar Castro, and Dayana Lucero. Loving grandmother to Emanuel Jr., Vincente, Violet, and Kaylani. Dear sister to Juan (Sonia) Martinez, Oscar (Linda) Martinez, and Israel Martinez.

Estela will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister whose legacy of sacrifice, faith, and resilience will continue to inspire her family for generations to come.

A Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 2, 2025 from 5:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. with a service time at 7:00 P.M. at Seguin & Symonds Funeral Home 858 Sheridan Road, Highwood IL 60040.
