Estella Barron, 83, of Ingleside, Texas, passed away March 1, 2026. Daughter of Eluvina and Jose Rodriguez, she was born in Gregory, Texas on September 12, 1942. She was married to Ramon Barron on December 6, 1963.
Estella was an Army spouse. Once she relocated back to Ingleside, her favorite pastime was getting together with family. Her hobbies included gardening, quilting , birdwatching, decorating her home and walking on the beach.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramon Barron; her parents, Eluvina and Jose Rodriguez; her brother, Jesus Rodriquez and Jose Rodriguez Jr; and her sister, Eluvina Delgadillo.
She is survived by her children: Ramon Barron Jr (Mary Ann), Ruben Barron (Barbara) and Sandra Bovy (Brian). She is survived by her grandchildren: Joshua Sellers (Mychelle), Anna Sellers, Andres Lankenau (Mary), Aaron Bovy (Sophia) and Marcus Barron.
She is survived by her great-grandchildren: Phoebe, Eloise, Parker and Magdalene. She is survived by her brothers: Ernesto Rodriguez (Rosa), Juan Rodriguez, Enrique Rodriguez (Lydia) and her sisters: Esther Salinas and Elva Ramirez (Rodolfo). She is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins who she loved.
Visitation will be held at 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. A Rosary is to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, March 8, 2026. A Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 9th, 2026, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas. Burial to follow at Prairie View Cemetery.
