Ester Marie Seal, born January 6, 1947, departed her earthly home on September 29, 2025. She was saved and baptized at an early age at Speedwell Missionary Baptist Church where she faithfully attended as long as her health permitted. She was also a member of New Gospel Church in Morristown.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Junior Seal; parents, Ernest and Lucile Long; brother, Earl Long; niece, Poppy Ann Long; brothers-in-law, Sam Parker and Carroll Matthews, and sister-in -law, Sue Long.

Those she left behind to carry on her memory are: sisters, Carolyn Parker and Wanda Matthews; brothers, Lester "Bud" Long (Trisha), Pat (Sandy) Long, and Thomas (Wanda) Long; special nieces, Priscilla Mills, Patricia Greene and special great-niece Alexis (Josh) Fultz; nieces, Darlene (Pat) Lee, Patricia (John) O'Laughlin, Amy Yeary, Kimberly White; great-nieces and nephews, Kirah (Elijah) Sells, Ryan (Miranda) Marshall, Logan Lee, Alyssa White, Caiden Matthews, Piper O'Laughlin, Keegan O'Laughlin, Coby (Breanne) Yeary; very special great-great-niece, Emma Grace Fultz; great-great-nieces and nephews, Silas, Oliver, Natalie and Eli.

The family would like to thank Caris Hospice, Robin Kinkead, Priscilla Mills, Patricia Green, Alexis and Josh Fultz, Darlene Lee and Trisha Jones for their loving care during her illness.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Wednesday, October 1, 2025, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home prior to the funeral service at 8:00 PM with Reverend Jason Lawson officiating. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Hamblen Memory Gardens.
