Esther Rivera Benavente

Esther Rivera Benavente, 84, of Lima, Peru, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2025 in Orange Park, Florida. She was born in Lima, Peru on October 25, 1941, to Timoteo Rivera Lindo and Aurelia Benavente Perea. Esther worked as a field collector for a public notary until retiring in early 2001 at which point she moved to Florida to live with her daughter, Ana Sofia Quiñones.
Esther was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was a devoted Christian woman who never stopped sharing the Gospel. Esther loved reading her Bible, communing with God, cooking, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
Esther was predeceased by her siblings, Elizabeth, Raul, Adolfo, and Graciela. She was also predeceased by her daughter Kasia Zenaida. Esther is survived by her sister Celia, her son Pablo (Julia), her daughter Ana Sofia (AJ), grandchildren Claudia (Taso), Guliana, Juan, Rosaesther, and Samah; and great-grandchildren Valentina, Aaron, Konstantinos, and Claudia.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Calvary Baptist Church, 1532 Long Bay Road, Middleburg, Florida 32068. Family will receive visitors starting at 12:00pm and service will begin at 1:00pm.
Esther Rivera Benavente, de 84 años, residente de Lima, Perú, falleció pacíficamente el 25 de noviembre de 2025 en Orange Park, Florida. Nació en Lima, Perú, el 25 de octubre de 1941, hija de Timoteo Rivera Lindo y Aurelia Benavente Perea. Esther trabajó como cobradora para una notaría pública hasta su jubilación a principios de 2001, momento en el que se mudó a Florida para vivir con su hija, Ana Sofía Quiñones.
Esther fue una querida madre, abuela, bisabuela, y amiga. Fue una cristiana devota que nunca dejó de compartir el Evangelio. Esther disfrutaba leer la Biblia, tener comunión con Dios, cocinar, viajar y pasar tiempo con amigos y familiares.
Esther fue precedida en la muerte por sus hermanos Elizabeth, Raúl, Adolfo, y Graciela. También fue precedida en la muerte por su hija Kasia Zenaida. A Esther le sobrevive su hermana Celia, su hijo Pablo (Julia), su hija Ana Sofía (AJ), sus nietos Claudia (Taso), Guliana, Juan, Rosaesther y Samah; y sus bisnietos Valentina, Aarón, Konstantinos y Claudia.
Se llevará a cabo un servicio conmemorativo el sábado 13 de diciembre de 2025 en Calvary Baptist Church, 1532 Long Bay Road, Middleburg, Florida 32068. La familia recibirá visitas desde las 12:00 p.m. y el servicio comenzará a la 1:00 p.m.
