Esther "Gloria" Ojeda Rodriguez passed away peacefully on September 25, 2024, at the age of 79. Born on February 14, 1945, to the late Federico Martinez Ojeda and Victoria Escalera Huizar, Esther lived a life full of love, family, and devotion.
She is survived by her two sons, Rick Rodriguez (Ruth) and Roger Rodriguez (Veronica), and by her siblings Evangelina Ojeda Aguillon, Federico "Fred" Ojeda Jr., Elvira Anita Ojeda Barrientes, and Rodger (Rogelio) H. Ojeda. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Federico and Victoria Ojeda, husband, Jesse Rodriguez, and her siblings Carmen Viola Esparza, Maria De Los Angeles Ojeda Duron, Elida Yolanda Ojeda Ogden, and Jose Ojeda (Infant).
Gloria's love for her family and her commitment to those around her were evident in all that she did. She will always be remembered for her kind heart, wisdom, and unwavering support. Her legacy of love will continue to inspire all those who were blessed to know her.
A visitation will be held at Camero Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, October 7, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m to 12pm. Burial will follow at Espada Cemetery.
Gloria will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
