Esther “Betty” Wolfe, 82, of Boiling Springs, S.C., went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at her residence. She was born in Chatham, N.Y. on February 19, 1943, to the late Arnold and Martha Jacobson Nielsen.
Mrs. Wolfe retired from teaching first grade, which she dearly loved, and was a member of Buck Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Joseph Edmond Wolfe of the home; one daughter, Ruth Ann Bamford; three sons, David, Jonathan, and Nathan Wolfe; one sister, Dorothy Schroeder; 17 grandchildren; one great-grandchild that is due soon; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was pre-deceased by three sisters and five brothers.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Buck Creek Baptist Church, 506 Buck Creek Rd in Chesnee, SC on Saturday, April 19th at 11:00 AM. The service will be followed by a luncheon.
