Estrella "Lita" Castillo

Estrella "Lita Castillo (nee: Florentino) - of Bayonne passed away on Thursday October 17, 2024, she was 85. Born in Manila Philippines, Estrella was a classical pianist, a piano teacher and worked as a secretary for The Bank of Nova Scotia for many years before her retirement. She was the beloved mother to Elena Mariano and her husband Joel and to Nelson Eduardo Castillo and the cherished grandmother to Gregory Mariano. Estrella was pre-deceased by her devoted husband Quinciano Castillo, her brothers Boy, Mamong, & Cesar Florentino and surviving her are her brother Bing and sister LuLu Florentino as well as a host of other loving family members and dear friends. There will be a brief visitation and prayer service held for Estrella on Saturday October 19th from 10:30AM - 11:30AM at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne immediately followed by entombment at Holy Name Cemetery Mausoleum in Jersey City, NJ.
