Jose is survived by his loving wife, Maria Lara of Owingsville; 5 daughters: Julia Reyna of Owingsville, Elvia Taulbee of Lexington, Cecilia Reyna of Louisville, Mariana Reyna of Owingsville and Eleonor (William) Gatewood of Louisville; 3 sons: Jose Reyna of Owingsville, Saul Vasquez of Mt. Sterling and Hector (Angela) Vasquez of Paw Paw, MI. and several grand and great-grandchildren; 2 sisters: Maria Reyna of Texas and Petra Reyna of Mexico.
Jose was preceded in death by his parents Jose Reyna and Maria Castillo.
A Celebration Of Life will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the Sugar Grove Christian Church, 3841 Stepstone Road, Owingsville, KY 40360. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Officiated by Pastor Hammer McGuire.
