Etaw Buckman Robb, age 87, of Gulfport, Mississippi, passed away on February 26, 2024, in D’Iberville, Mississippi.
Etaw was born in Paulding, Mississippi, on May 9, 1936. She worked for many years as a homemaker and also at Gayfer’s Department Store. If you were to have asked her, however, she would have told you that raising her children was her calling and her greatest joy was her grandchildren. She found profound joy in seeing them grow up. She loved her family very much.
Etaw or “Neenee” as she became known by many, was a seamstress, cook, caregiver, military wife, gardener and most importantly, a disciple of Jesus Christ. She also was an early member of the local Right to Life organization.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Allan L. Robb; her parents, John Edward and Estelle Buckman; and her siblings, Edward Buckman, James Paul Buckman, Carter Buckman, Annie Mae Mills, and Mary Virginia Buckman.
She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Villarreal (Jeff) and Teresa Todaro (Shawn); her brother, John Buckman (Cecille); her three grandchildren, Joseph Herbert (Ashlie), Katie Todaro, and Kelly Green (Trevor); and her great-grandchildren, Mary, Liam and Emmie Kate.
