Ethan Andrew Dolan, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024, at the age of 30 years. He was born on March 16, 1993, to Kevin Edward Dolan and Cindy Lege Dolan. Ethan graduated from Louisiana Tech in 2017, earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was a Process Engineer at Southland Steel Fabricators, Inc. in Amite, Louisiana.
Ethan was an intelligent, reserved, good-natured, quiet man who loved to build and create things using wood and metal. He could fix or make anything you wanted, including several pieces that his family will forever cherish. He marched to the beat of his own drum, living his life the way he wanted to, but he never turned down a chance to help someone in need. Ethan enjoyed helping others recover from natural disasters.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Howard Lege, Sr.; paternal grandparents, John Dolan and Lorraine “Lolo” Scott Dolan; uncles, Bill Pramik, Larry Parfait, and Scott Dolan; and aunt, Pam Dolan.
Ethan is survived by his parents; step-mother, Ann Dolan; son, Louis Michael Dolan; sister, Kelsey Dolan Hurst (James); brother, Mason Dolan; step brothers Tad Abbey (Rose) and Britt Abbey (Heidi);maternal grandmother, Barbara Lege; nephew Declan Jude Dolan; nieces Harper Abbey, Sloane Abbey, and Savannah Hurst; uncle, Howard Lege, Jr.; aunts, Dawn Pramik and Cindy Dolan Parfait; and several beloved cousins.
The Funeral Service for Ethan Andrew Dolan will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, at 11:00 AM. A visitation will be held prior to the service at the funeral home beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will take place immediately following the service in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
