Ethan Fine Obituary

Published by Legacy on Feb. 6, 2026.
Ethan Alexander Fine, 25, passed away January 30, 2026 at Abrazo Central Campus. This hospital is located in Phoenix, Arizona where Ethan was born and raised. His death was unexpected. He was in the hospital less than 72 hours before he passed. Unfortunately, his passing was sped up by his earthly toils.

He was born December 23, 2000, in sunny Arizona to Crystal and "Chompy". Ethan was not married and he did not have any children. He did have a partner; his name is Arthur, and they were best friends.

He graduated from Pinnacle High School and had various food related jobs thereafter. He was a son, a grandson, a brother, an amazing uncle, and a partner. He was also a LGBTQ ally and believed that everyone was worthy. He enjoyed family, games, music, and movies. He will be remembered for his love, smile, laughter, and childlike whimsy.

He is survived by his mother Crystal, his grandmother Betty, his other grandmother Sherry, his other grandmother Melanie, his grandfather Darryl, his sister Nyssa, and his nephews Cameron and TJ.

Our family plans to hold a celebration of life for Ethan at our grandmother's church in the spring of 2026. We would like to thank the staff at Abrazo Central Campus for taking such good care of him. Specifically, Dr. Pullapilly, the surgery team, Nephrology, and nurses: Ieva, Jordan, Mei, and Sara for spending those last few hours with him. A special thank you to Darryl and Sherry for raising Ethan. Even though they were his grandparents they raised him like a son and up until his death remained very close to him. A couple of times a month they would have dinner, play games, and watch movies. In his honor, we will eat, play, and watch his favorite movies as a family.

Memorial gifts may be made to The Trevor Project or Point Foundation.
