Obituary of Ethel Lee Hanson
TROY –
Ethel Lee Hanson, 76, of Troy, formerly of Elsmere (in the Town of Bethlehem), passed away on February 21, 2025 at the Troy Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing.
She was born on July 19, 1948 in Albany Memorial Hospital, Albany, New York. A daughter of the late Edward and Hannah Rose Hanson.
Ethel was raised in Elsmere, and received her education from Bethlehem Central High School, graduating in June 1966. A lifelong resident of the Capital Region, she formerly resided in Rensselaer, Albany, Menands and at the time of her death, Troy.
She is survived by her two brothers, Marshall Gene Hanson and Richard Glen Hanson. Ethel was predeceased in death and now joins her parents, Edward and Hannah Rose Hanson.
The Hanson Family expresses their heartfelt gratitude and thanks to the staff at the Troy Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing both the North and South Units for her care.
