Marcia June Burt

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marcia June Burt, aged 88, who peacefully departed this life on February 20, 2026, in Ocala, Florida. Born on March 6, 1937, in Albany, New York, Marcia embraced life with warmth and grace, creating cherished memories for all who knew her.

Marcia was a devoted wife to her husband, Kenneth Burt, and a loving mother to her daughters, Patricia Willey and Jennifer Burt. She is predeceased by her two sons, Thomas and Erick Burt, whose absence she carried with strength and love. Marcia was also a proud grandmother to her three grandsons, Lucas and Mark Willey, and Tyler Burt, and delighted in the company of her three great-grandsons, Alex, Adam, and Eric Willey, who filled her heart with joy.

A graduate of Bethlehem Central High School in Delmar, New York, Marcia's intellectual curiosity and zest for life were evident throughout her years. Although her formal career details may not define her, her greatest achievements are found in the love and kindness she imparted to her family and friends.

Marcia found joy in the simple pleasures of life, often spending her afternoons cheering for the Red Sox and enjoying music at the Orange Blossom Opry. Her vibrant spirit and passion for her interests brought sunshine to those around her.

As we reflect on Marcia's life, we celebrate her unwavering strength and the legacy of love she leaves behind. Her gentle heart, her laughter, and her unwavering support will forever be cherished by her family and friends.
