Ethel Glennis Rhodes age 73 of Sweetwater, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Park West Hospital. She was of the Church of Christ faith. Glennis loved playing bingo at Sam's and spending time with her special dog Jake. Preceded in death by her husband, Norman Jay Rhodes, parents, Arthur D. and Ethel Verna Brown Bowen. 2 brothers and 3 sisters, Survived by son, Allen Rhodes of Sweetwater, brother, Garry Bowen of Opelika, Alabama, 3 sisters, Charlotte Willis of Eastaboga, Alabama, Joyce Gibson of Union City, Georgia, Wilma Newton of Union City, Georgia, several nieces and nephews. The body is at Sweetwater Memory Chapel where the family will receive friends, Saturday January 12, 2013 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM with funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM in Sweetwater Memory Chapel. Interment in Sweetwater Memorial Park. You may send flowers or make donations to Sweetwater Area Ministry 601 Sweetwater-Vonore Rd. Sweetwater, TN 37874. Sweetwater Memory Chapel in charge of the arrangements.
