Ethel Marie Wagner

Ethel Marie (Mason) Wagner, 89, went to sleep in death November 21, 2025, with her loving family at her bedside. Ethel was born in Athens, Ohio, to parents Sylvester and Emma (Finnearty) Mason, July 9, 1936.

She attended Libby High School and went on to marry Richard N. Wagner Sr, June 1, 1953. Ethel was a member of The Toledo North Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses for more than 57 years.

Ethel and Richard had 5 beautiful children. Penny Wagner, Debbie Goldsmith, Dianna (Roger) Martin, Kimberly (Mathew) Rhodes and Richard Wagner Jr; grandchildren, Donald Wagner, John David (Tammy) Goldsmith, Robert (Jennifer) Goldsmith, Kaylee (Robert) Mullins, Casey (Mario) Hernandez, Ricardo Cavazos, Mason Rhodes, and Marshall Rhodes; 21 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; sister, Linda Mason Berry Garcia and brother in law, William Christian. She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Richard Wagner Sr; son, Richard Wagner Jr; son in law, Steven Goldsmith; grandson, Chad Martin; sister, Martha Brewer; brother, William Mason; sisters, Margie Christian and Janice Grove; and brothers in law, Alfred Brewer, Kenneth Grove, Bernard Berry and Fred Garcia.

Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, OH, Friday, November 28, 2025, from 11:00am until the Funeral Ceremony begins at 1:00pm. Ethel will be laid to rest beside Richard Sr. at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park at the conclusion of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to The Toledo North Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
