F. Gary Ford

F. Gary Ford of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026 at the age of 86. Gary was born on June 8,1939 in Springfield, Illinois to Forrest and Thelma Ford. His family then moved to Blissfield, Michigan before settling in Toledo, Ohio. Gary graduated from Whitmer High School in 1957. He then attended The Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati and graduated in 1967. Gary taught choir, boys glee club, and general music at McTigue and East Toledo Junior High. He resided the rest of his years in the Old West End, where he had many friends. Gary's interest included collecting antiques, and playing bridge, canasta, and pinochle at Eleanor Kahle Senior Center.

Gary was proceeded in death by his parents, sister and brother-in law, Dori (Durwood) Smart. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Cheryl (Terry) Knestrick, niece Jodi Burns and nephews Mark, Matt (Tracy) Smart, Chad (Renee) Przeslawski, along with several great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral service begins at 2:00 p.m. at Reeb Funeral Home in Sylvania.
