Etheline Louise McRee

Etheline Louise McRee, 84, of Tyler, went to be with her Lord on Saturday evening, June 21, 2025. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Sharon Baptist Church, in Arp, to begin at 10:00am. A visitation will be held on Friday evening, June 27, 2025, at Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Bullard, from 5:00pm - 7:00pm. Bro. Erik Switzer and Douglas DuPree will officiate the services. A private interment at Whitehouse Cemetery will follow the service.

Etheline was born in Tyler, Texas, January 28, 1941, to parents Bill and Dera Mae Johnson (I.J Durham - Step Dad). Etheline married the love of her life, Joe McRee, and together they raised a large and loving family. Etheline worked for the Tyler Police Department as a Meter Maid. She was a loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend to many. Etheline will be dearly missed by all.

Etheline is preceded by her Husband, Joe McRee, Father, Bill Johnson, Mother, Dera Mae Durham, Step Dad, I.J Durham, Brother, Jesse Johnson, Sister, Doris Diviney, Sister, Shirley Poston, Sister, Katherine Diviney, Sister, Mary Foughty, Brother, I.J Durham, Jr., and Sister, Geraldine Fairchild.

She is survived by her Son, James (Monty) McRee (Carla), Son, Toney Dewayne McRee, Daughter, Gwen DuPree (Doug), Daughter, Jodi Weaver (Thomas), Brother, Bill Johnson, Brother, Jimmy Durham, 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 1 great great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Scott McRee, Daniel McRee, Salvador Machado, Aaron Luscombe, Kelton Todd, and Korey McRee.
