Kenneth Clark McRee passed away after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease on November 5, 2025 in Brenham, Texas. He was born on February 18, 1962 in Waco.

Ken, or Kenny, to his friends, became an RN later in life and enjoyed helping others and working with his patients. He was a huge sports fan and he loved laughing and making others laugh. Attending sporting events, comedy shows or live music was among his favorite things to do. Ken had a deep love of music that brought him joy throughout his life and always eager to learn something new, was taking piano lessons during the past year and found great happiness in exploring this creative side.

Ken is survived by his wife, Connie McRee; step daughter and son-in-law, Alex and Alejandro Camejo Chang; sister LouAnne McRee, sister and brother-in-law Hope and Bill Talbot; nephews Chris Talbot and wife Crystal and Steven Talbot; great-nephew Corey Talbot; brothers-in-law and their families, Tom, Jocelyn and Ethan Casey and Mike, Jian and Moli Casey and sister-in-law and her family, Kelly, Matthew and Henry Heintzelman.

Ken is preceded in death by his parents Kenneth Neil McRee and Doris Delane McRee, and step-son Sean Casey, who passed away last year.

Ken will be remembered for his sense of humor, his smile and his warmth. He loved his family and will be greatly missed by them. Ken will also be missed by his treasured fur babies, Jack, Cooper and AJ.
