Ethie Mae Blankenship Bailey

Ethie Mae Blankenship Bailey, age 99, of Cornelia, GA passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-one years, Willard Bailey; parents, John and Jessie Ewing Blankenship; two brothers, John Jr. and James Blankenship; sister, Mabel Thomason. Mrs. Bailey is survived by her children; Bobby (Nadine) Bailey of Monticello, GA, Dennis (Stephanie) Bailey of Gainesville, GA, David Bailey of Cornelia, GA, Donna (Danny) Dunbar of Athens, GA; three grandchildren, Todd Bailey, Tiffaney Bailey, Mandie McKelvey; three great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Temse Chadwick Blankenship of Buford, GA; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Bailey was born on June 30, 1926 in Lilburn, GA. She received her education at Five Forks School and was a homemaker. Mrs. Bailey was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed spending time with her children. A Funeral Service will be held at 3:30 p.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home on Saturday, February 14, 2026. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, February 14, 2026 from 12:00 noon until 3:30 p.m.
