Ethyle M. Scott “Scottie”, 84 of Mansfield OH, passed on November 20th 2024 at Arbors at Mifflin. Ethyle was born March 5th, 1940 to the late Emma L. Young Stinson-Jones in Columbus, Mississippi and moved to Mansfield at the age of two. She was a RN/BSN for Mansfield General/Med-Central hospital for 38 years and retired in November of 1999. She then proceeded to work at Raintree, MANCI, and as a home healthcare nurse. She finally retired during March of 2020 at the age of 80. Ethyle was an avid shopper, she knew how to find a good deal. She was also a jack of all trades when crafting. She enjoyed being around her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and being with her family on vacations.
Ethyle is survived by a daughter Robyn (Gary) Almanson of Crestline; a son Shawn Scott (Patrice Rowe) of Mansfield; 7 grandchildren, Monique (Trevor) Sanders of Olathe, Kansas, Chris Johnson of Mansfield, D’Andre Mccollom of Mansfield, Jalen Greene of Olathe, Kansas, Madysen Almanson of Columbus, Jay Payne of Mansfield, Garrisen Almanson of Columbus; great grandchildren; A’Nayah Pointer, Koi Sanders, Kairo Sanders, Rio Payne; Special cousins Sam and Rose Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to her parents, she preceded in death by a brother Ernest Stinson; special aunt Maggie Thomas, special cousin Billy Williams
