Etta Conley Stedam, born on June 12, 1991, in Jasper, Texas, left this world unexpectedly on February 7, 2026, in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Throughout her life, Etta shared a deep love for her family and a passion for the simple joys that life had to offer. She cherished the time spent with her loved ones, particularly her beloved daughter Kaylee.
Etta was not only a devoted mother, but she also found happiness in life's small pleasures, whether it was crocheting, listening to music, or embarking on adventurous rides on the Harley motorcycle with her husband, Gerald Stedam. Her zest for life was evident in all she did, reflecting a vibrant spirit that touched the hearts of many.
She will be dearly missed by her husband, Gerald Stedam; her daughter, Kaylee Conley; her other daughter, Recce Kelly; her mother, Theresa Conley (Justin Applegate) Workman; her father, Jason Ingram; her grandparents, Robin Conley and Thomas Deal; her brothers, William Workman and Andrew Nelson; her aunt, Debra Conley; her uncle, Jimmy Conley; and her close and dear friends, Thomas Reed, William Feltner and Harold Beasley. Etta was preceded in death by her grandfather, Jim Glen Conley Sr.
Etta's life will be honored with a visitation on Friday, February 13, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, Indiana. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place beginning at 1:00 PM, also at Grayson Funeral Home. She will then be laid to rest in Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
