Doris and Family,
Please accept my deep sympathy in the passing of Gene. I have many fond memories of our Sunday nights together at the Colleen Esso (yes, Esso) station. We had the best time singing some of the old standards from the 30s and 40s, much to the chagrin of Ned Saunders I am sure. I will always remember him as a kind and gracious man who loved his family and life. He will be forever in my memories and I am sure he is singing Chattanooga Choo Choo at the top of his lungs with St Peter and a bunch of really good musicians in heaven! You have our prayers and wishes of great blessings in your time of sorrow, but you should rejoice too, he is loved by many!

Doris & Family:
I am so sorry to hear of Gene's passing. He was such a kind person and always had a smile for you! Growing up hanging out around the Dairy Isle and gas station I probably "bugged" him a lot! He was always very tolerant! Please pass along my condolences to Mike & Ronnie and their families.
