To: The Davis Faily
Just learned about the lost of Gene and you have our deepest sympathy. May God bless the Davis family. We lived at 712 for years and knew your family was good to the neighbors. That solid group of neighbors--- the Stanleys, Meekins, Greens, Davises, Browns, Burroughs, Hills, Lightfoots Robinsons, Lewises and McNairs, Jones and the Races ( store keepers on the corner of Pleasant St.) helped to keep the children in order and assisted each other when bad times came.
We were taught the rules of life from our elders, who knew about love honesty, sharing and building a community. We shall miss those who have gone away from us but we cherish their wisdom and love .May God continue to bless you.
Peace to all,
Doris Stanley Mitchell and Robert (Bobby) Stanley
