Eugene Carl Farrell, Jr, 79, passed away in Lake City, Florida on March 1, 2026. He was born in Davenport, Iowa on December 20, 1946 to Eugene Carl Farrell, Sr, and Vera Schlemer (Wright). Eugene was Methodist in his faith. He enjoyed carpentry, hiking, and traveling. He mostly enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He is survived by his two sons by Bonnie

Jean Back of Waterloo, IA: Eugene C. Farrell III of Bushnell, FL, and William Wayne Farrell of Waterloo, IA; Four Grandchildren; and seven siblings. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026 from 10am-11am with the service starting at 11am at Purcell Chapel. Interment will follow to Florida National Cemetery.
