Eugene J. Federinko

Eugene J. Federinko, 79, of Medina, passed away October 9, 2023.
He was born in Indiana, PA on August 2, 1944 to Joseph and Anna (Gresock)
Federinko.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Margaret (Klamar); children, Kim (Scott) Furlong and Rick (Lynn) Federinko; grandchildren, Lindsay, Alexander, Claire, Brendan and Andrew; step-grandchildren, Kylie, Kyle and Colin; and siblings, Frank (Patty) and Karen (P.J.)
Preceding him in death were his parents and two siblings, George and John.
Geno was a truly amazing human being who loved life. His trademark was his infectious smile and a warm hug when he greeted you. He was so kind, loving and compassionate the best husband, father and grandfather. His grandchildren were everything to him. He always put everyone's needs above his own. He loved football, especially his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers. Life will not be the same without him. A presence like his can never be replaced and he will be truly missed by his loving family.
Visitation is 2-5 p.m., Sunday, October 15, 2023, at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina, where funeral services will take place at 5 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to Hospice of the Western Reserve, Medina Inpatient Hospice.
