Eugene Fronczak, age 90, passed away peacefully at home on September 13, 2025, in Palatine, Illinois. Born on December 30, 1934, in Chicago, Illinois, Eugene lived a long and meaningful life marked by quiet strength, enduring warmth, and a deep love for his family.
Throughout his life, Eugene was known for his generous spirit and unwavering loyalty. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures—whether it was spending time with loved ones or indulging in his favorite pastimes like coin collecting and watching golf. His gentle humor and kind presence left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Eugene is survived by his beloved wife Helen, who was his steadfast partner and companion through life’s journey; his daughters Wendy Pankin, Valerie Mooneyham, and Kim Casman; his stepchildren Michael Liuzza and Sandra Hagland; and his cherished grandchildren: Jessica Pankin, Jason Pankin, Jordan Pankin, Kody Mooneyham, Alex Fronczak, Christopher Hagland, Heather Hagland, Samantha Hagland, and Emily Hagland. He is also survived by his brother Robert Fronczak and sister Geraldine Hille.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Leonard Fronczak and Lawrence Fronczak, as well as his sister Ceil Kawzinski.
Eugene’s legacy is one of love—for family above all else—and of a life lived with integrity and grace. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will continue to inspire those who knew him. May his spirit live on in the hearts of all who were touched by his kindness.
