Strange.... When i was in pittsburgh , for a few years , I swam at the veteran hospital pool. And there the lifeguard was Gene. A great guy , very welcoming , always interested in others , caring. We stayed in touch when I came back in Belgium. After a few year of Xmas cards exchanges, we lost contact. I don `t know why , this morning , I was thinking of him. So , don´t ask me why , i googled his name..... to realise that he passed a few days ago and that his burial service is TODAY .... Crazy....
RIP Gene. You were a really great guy. Thank you for everything

I am going to miss you, Mr.Gorman! I haven't had a chance to talk to you in 4 years, but I still have all the letters you sent me in reply to the hordes I used to send you. I'm sorry we never did get to have that pizza. Next time I have one, I will think of you. Thanks for everything Mr.G!

To my Gorman Family - You have our deepest sympathy on the loss of your Dad and Grandfather - Uncle Gene was top notch and his smile and conversation always lit up the room. We were all blessed to have him in our lives and will miss him a great deal. I am sure he was welcomed with open arms by Aunt Mary Kay and his beloved brothers and sister who passed before him.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Gorman family. Coach Gorman was my football coach in high school. He was a man who commanded and received respect from the young men who he coached. I have had the opportunity to have a career in college football and know the effect that a high school coach can have on the lives of young men.I know first hand that he taught me to be strong ,fight in the face of adversity, and never give up! You never forget your first coach! A few years back ,before one of my games, I left a voicemail on his phone thanking him for what he taught me. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Bob LaCivita

Mr. Gorman where to start. You truly will be missed by many. I will always remember you being that teacher who said to me in Science class don't go into labor here but I did and you got my son his first outfit.. his baby picture hung up on your chalkboard even a few years later it was still there. You cared and it showed. Rest easy.

Dear Mary, Sally, Don, and Tim,
Please accept my deepest sympathy and prayers of consolation on your dear Dad´s passing. I last saw your Mom and Dad at my Dad´s wake in March 2016 and they were as vibrant and uplifting as ever. May he join your mom and my parents in the great banquet feast of heaven, where endless joy evaporates all tears. May the risen Lord Jesus walk with you in these difficult days. May faith in the resurrection turn your mourning into dancing as your parents would love. Peace, grace, and prayers. Joe
