Eugene E. Hahn, age 89, or Rural Reeseville, died on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at his home. The visitation will be at Salem Ev. Lutheran Church in Lowell on Monday, August 18, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:50 a.m. The funeral service will follow at the church on Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Paul Vander Galien officiating. Burial will be at Reeseville Cemetery. Eugene Edward Hahn was born on May 9, 1925 in the Town of Lowell, Dodge County, Wisconsin to Emil Sr. and Christina (nee: Yerges) Hahn. He served in the United States Army during World War II from 1945 until 1949. Eugene was united in marriage with Lydia Braatz on May 15, 1960 in Lowell. He farmed in Reeseville his whole life. Eugene was a member of Salem Ev. Lutheran Church. Survivors are his step-son, Floyd (Josephine) Hahn; step-grandchildren, Anjanette (Dwain) Beechey, Pamela (Duane) Eggers, David (Chris Diels) Hahn, and Daniel Hahn; five step-great grandchildren; two step-great great grandchildren; sister-in-law Donna Hahn; niece, Faith (Robert) Ericsson; nephews Dale Hahn and Kevin (Sandy) Hahn; great nieces and great nephews; neighbor, Jay (Rebecca) Nelson; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, brothers, Reuben, Rolland and Emil Jr.; and one step-great grandchild.
