I knew Gene through his work in the seed industry. I always enjoyed the visit I had with him. His knowledge of the seed industry was a strong asset. I appreciated that knowledge along with his friendliness and honesty. The seed industry will miss him. My condolences to his family in his loss.

I went through grades 1 thru 12 with Gene. We graduated 8th grade from Scism School in the Deer Flat Area. He was a very nice guy.
