Eugene Hibbard Obituary
Albany- Eugene J. Hibbard, 90, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 3, 2025 with his loving family by his side. He was the son of the late Arthur and Margorie Hibbard. Eugene was the devoted husband to the late Carol E. Hibbard. They were married 65 years.
After graduating from High School, Eugene enlisted in the United States Army where he served proudly until his honorable discharge. After his military service, Eugene went on to get a degree from Hartford Technical College. Eugene went on to work as an Electrical Engineer for Kerite Company until his retirement. His position enabled him to travel the globe for the company.
Eugene enjoyed spending time with his entire family, travelling, and building their own log cabin in Lake Placid.
Eugene is survived by his son, Mark L. Hibbard and his wife Deborah of Latham, NY; his grandson, Ryan Hibbard of Albany, NY; 14 nieces and nephews, and many friends.
