I knew his sister Ida in Sacramento. I remember she should tell me that her brother was Eugene from the Jets and I didn't believe her because my name was Eugene also not that she was just saying that to be funny. And when her brother came down to do a concert in Sacramento he was staying with her at the house and that week I happened to be sick with the flu and she's so badly wanted me to go to the house in North Highlands to meet him so she could prove to me that she was related to Eugene wolf ground they look just like each other too Ida and Eugene. I wish the best for Eugene family for their great loss my condolences and my heart goes out to them but he is in a better place and he accomplished a lot here on Earth and had a great family I'm sorry it was cut so short Eugene will be missed.

Michelle and kids I am so sorry for your loss. I loved Gene! My first memories of Gene are playing church basketball and him talking trash about each time we played how they were going to beat us. I loved are Jet Skiing trips at the lakes and camping out by the fire. We loved hanging out and working together! I will miss being able to call him any time and having him answer the phone and respond Virgil! He always stood by me and I knew I could always rely and depend on him. I remember a little over a year ago he came over got out of the car and had a black cowboy hat on and I asked him what he was doing? He said I have been watching Yellowstone! I laughed so hard Gene the Cowboy! I know how much he loved all his family especially Michelle and his children! I will miss my friend dearly and look forward to the day we will meet again. I loved him so much! RIP my brother!!!
