Eugene Justice, Jr., 64, of Kermit, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2024 at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia. Born on April 19, 1960, he was the beloved son of the late, Eugene Justice and Lula (Brewer) Justice, who survives him.
Also surviving is his loving wife of 44 years, Jessie (Collie) Justice; his daughter and the light of his life, Dawn (Andy) Johnson of Crum, WV; two cherished grandchildren whom he loved and adored, grandson, Tyler Johnson (baby boy) and granddaughter, Kaylee Johnson (little sweet cheeks) both of Crum, WV; his sis and best buddy, Lisa (Johnny) Salmons of Kermit, WV, and a special nephew he loved like his own, Jon-Jon (Sheree) Salmons of Fort Gay, WV; great-niece, Paislynn Salmons of Fort Gay, WV; one great-nephew, Kayson Salmons, of Fort Gay, WV; sister-in-law, Linda (Danny) Crum of Stepptown, WV; sister-in-law, Judy (Charles) Sammons of Crum, WV; brother-in-law, Larry (Hazel) Collie; brother-in-law, Gary (Kim) Collie of Fort Gay, WV; Nephew, Danny Crum of Gainesville, GA; Niece, Tonia Fowler of Greensboro, NC; Nephew, Chris Crum of Colfax, NC; Nephew, Joseph Collie of Fort Gay, WV; Nephew, Jason Sammons of Las Vegas, NV; Niece, Bethany Ramey of Fort Gay, WV; Nephew, JB Collie of Fort Gay, WV; Nephew, Tanner Collie of Louisa, KY; Niece, Hayley Collie of Fort Gay, WV; Nephew, Cole Collie of Fort Gay, WV; preceding him in death, Nephew, Charlie Sammons. Additionally, he is survived by numerous uncles, aunts and a host of cousins.
Eugene will be remembered for his kindness, warmth and the joy he brought to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Cabell Huntington ICU and the Cardiac Stepdown Unit for their love, comfort and care during this difficult time.
Funeral services will be held at the Kermit Freewill Baptist Church in Kermit, WV on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at 11:00am with Walter Marcum officiating. Burial will follow at the Williamson Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church on Wednesday after 6:00pm. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez, KY.
