Eugene Killman Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home on Dec. 15, 2025.
Eugene "Gene" Killman Jr., age 59, of Aurora, Missouri, passed away at 4:44 p.m. on Friday, December 12, 2025. He was born on September 23, 1966, in Portsmouth, Virginia, the son of Eugene Killman Sr. and Sandra Marie (Kills The Enemy) Killman.
Gene was a 1984 graduate of Marionville High School in Marionville, Missouri. After graduating from high school, Gene enlisted in the Army and proudly served his country as a Motor Transport Operator. Following his military service, Gene spent many years working as an over-the-road truck driver and loved traveling to many parts of the United States.
In his free time, Gene enjoyed hunting and fishing with his dad, mom, son, sons-in-law, and grandchildren. He especially loved spending hours working jigsaw puzzles with his mom. Nothing brought Gene more joy than spending time with his wife, his children, and his grandchildren, and being there for his parents. Gene was a talented woodcarver and enjoyed creating beautiful pieces by hand and gifting them to those he loved. He was a devoted member of Faith Full Gospel Church in Aurora.
After 25 years together, Gene married the love of his life, Denise Ann Jamison, on June 22, 2025, in Aurora, Missouri.
Gene is survived by his devoted wife, Denise Killman of Aurora, Missouri; his parents, Eugene Killman Sr. and Sandra Killman of Aurora, Missouri; one daughter, Kayla Marquez and her husband, Jorge, of Monett, Missouri; one son, Hunter Killman of Ozark, Missouri; three stepdaughters, Ashley Cates and her husband, Jeremy, of Shell Knob, Missouri; Tasha Koehler and her husband, Adam, of Aurora, Missouri; and Jessica Jackson and her husband, Daniel, of Crane, Missouri; one sister, Barbara Gilmore and her husband, Brian, of Augusta, Georgia; fifteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild on the way and one niece and one nephew.
Gene was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. Gene loved being in service to his loved ones.
Gene was preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Jodie Cole.
A visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora, Missouri. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will take place at the Marionville IOOF Cemetery in Marionville, Missouri.
